A scan of new educational teacher programs show that very few teachers receive training to help their students with the social-emotional part of learning. According to a recent Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) report, a whopping 83 percent of teachers stated that they want training in social-emotional learning (SEL) skills.
