Volunteer Campaign Managers

EQuip Our Kids! is a nonprofit advertising and marketing education campaign whose sole and huge vision is to galvanize the American public to include comprehensive emotional intelligence education for students and staff in every school’s curriculum. Educators mostly know this curriculum as Social-Emotional Learning or SEL.

Decades of high-quality research shows that SEL curriculum offers profound personal, academic, economic, and societal benefits to children, teens, adults, schools, communities, and the nation as a whole.

Think of us as like the STEM education movement, but for your heart instead of your head.

Because we focus on advertising and marketing, we seek campaign managers who implement, manage, and measure campaigns targeted at motivating businesses, parents, and students to adopt and advocate for SEL curriculum in their schools, homes, and communities.

Examples of ongoing campaigns include

  • Promoting our Speaker Bureau

  • Generating earned media coverage

  • Increasing subscribers to our weekly parents’ newsletter

  • Increasing individual, small dollar donations

  • Email outreach campaigns to business decision makers

Campaign managers have a strategic sense of how to reach a goal and the tactical and management skills to work with a team to make that goal a reality.

We have assembled media and promotional materials that can be customized to attract various organizations to join us in promoting the cause. We have sophisticated marketing and media leadership who are also experienced in developing alliances. You will be working with and meeting experienced, creative and caring people.
